What does a city look like where Unions are able to muscle out fiscally responsible and independent candidates while throwing big money at candidates who will be beholding to their Union agendas? Let’s see, Chicago comes quickly to mind fitting that description as well as Detroit and Sacramento. Could our beloved Phoenix soon be joining the ranks of those once great cities now singing the Union Blues?
The answer is maybe. August 27th is the primary election and the residents of Phoenix’s District 6 will go to the polls and decide their fate, actually they will decide all our fate as Arizonans. As Phoenix goes, so will Arizona. The ripple effect of local government is far reaching and profound when it comes to corruption, fiscal irresponsibility and bad policy. The ripples of bad government eventually reach us all.
Phoenix has a choice to make and it should be easy. Sal DiCiccio has been a stalwart friend of Phoenix fighting for job creation which is key to keeping a city alive and healthy! Some of Sal’s most notable accomplishments are:
Job Creation and Business Reforms
Arizona needs Sal’s continued help. Take a look at some of his accomplishments that help are helping us Statewide:
Sal DiCiccio’s Fiscal record speaks for itself but we need to help get the word out if we are to continue to have a voice that is fighting for our fiscal health. Sal has worked hard to cut waste and inefficiencies for hard working taxpayers. To date, Phoenix has cut $79 million in government waste and the City has a $43 million contingency fund, the largest in city history. But, here is what else Sal helped get accomplished:
What Sal DeCiccio has stood and opposed on our behalf:
Clearly Sal is a threat to the union agendas of lining the government employee’s pockets while cutting much needed monies the city needs to grow and stay and before you know it the city is broke and needs a tax increase to meet a swollen city budget.
Of course the Mayor of Phoenix, Mayor Stanton, is supporting Sal’s opponent. I wonder if he is still bitter about Sal not supporting his infamous “bathroom bill” this past year that allows for transgendered men to use the women’s bathrooms in the city of Phoenix or if it is just the whole progressive and union agenda that Sal will not accept that causes Stanton to support team Keogh, Sal’s opposition. Maybe it is just as simple as he is just in favor of whomever the union asked him to supports but I am only assuming. All the more reason each and every one of us needs to tell our friends and neighbors to get out and vote for Sal DiCiccio on August 27th. We all are depending on him to keep us from singing union blues.
