A painting that features President Obama posed as Jesus Christ crucified on is on display at a community college art gallery in Boston.

The painting by

Michael D’Antuono is part of a larger exhibit called "Artists on the Stump – the Road to the White House 2012." It’s on display at the Bunker Hill Community College Art Gallery until Dec. 15th.

The painting is called "Truth" – and shows the president with his arms outstretched. A crown of thorns rests on his head.

It was originally supposed to debut nearly four years ago at New York City’s Union Square. But that event was cancelled due to public outrage.

In the aftermath of his aborted first attempt – the artist said he received more than 4,000 emails containing messages that were "anything but Christian-like."

A federal lawsuit brought against the Department of Defense over its exclusion of women from some ground combat positions has nothing to do with discrimination or the protection of the nation from its enemies, contends a decorated general who now works with

the Family Research Council.

Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, who served in Delta Force and brought down warlords, war criminals, despots and dictators from Panama to Colombia, Vietnam, Iran and Mogadishu, says the lawsuit aims to undermine the last great American institution that represents hard work, personal responsibility and courage: the military.

According to numerous studies and tests conducted over the past 30 years, in the direct ground combat environment, women do not have an equal opportunity to survive, or to help fellow soldiers survive. The armed forces are not subject to ‘EO’ laws, and there is no equal opportunity to serve in direct combat. Contrary to allegations, women in the military have been promoted at rates equal to or faster than men

For the second consecutive year, prospective gun buyers joined Black Friday shoppers in record numbers as firearms dealers swamped the FBI with required buyer background check requests.

The FBI fielded 154,873 calls, a roughly 20 percent increase from last year’s previous one-day record of 129,166, according to bureau records.

The requests came in such volume throughout the day that FBI call centers experienced two brief outages — one of 18 minutes and one for 14 minutes — during the busy day, bureau spokesman Stephen Fischer said Monday.

The cops came not a moment too soon.

Racquel Gonzalez, 24, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting her boyfriend, 30-year-old Esric Davis

, when he had an orgasm and she did not, according to a police report obtained by the Smoking Gun.

The Manatee County, Fla. couple were having sex on Monday afternoon, Davis told deputies, and after he climaxed, Gonzalez got angry and started scratching and hitting him.

The police report states that Davis had scratches near his eye and nose. Davis also told investigators that Gonzalez has issues from her past and "goes off" on him frequently.

Gonzalez, who the report states was uncooperative and belligerent during her arrest, was charged with felony domestic battery.

Everybody loves zombies, and women in bikinis are just as popular. So why not combine the two?

Sorry, you're too late. Somebody thought of it first.

As part of a promotion for "The Walking Dead" TV show, a South African ad agency, had the brainy idea (mmm, bra-a-ains) to create a zombie swimsuit calendar featuring

models dressed up to look like cadaverous cuties.

"[It] pulls together two of FHM's favourite things: bikini babes and zombies," said a blog post promoting the calendar. "Now, if they'd just been holding a beer this video would have been three for three!"

It sounds like a necropheliac natural, but some zombie buffs say the actual calendar leaves them as cold as the undead themselves.

Yolanda Green of LazyGamer.net believes the calendar would be more appropriate if the shots were set in a decayed, post-apocalyptic city,

not on a sunny beach

"The babes are hot, but the make up isn’t," she said. "Instead of looking like they were victims of a zombie attack, it rather looks like they were all in the same car accident."
