Both Gen. David Petraeus and Gen. John Allen intervened in the same nasty child custody battle involving Natalie Khawam, the "psychologically unstable" twin sister of Jill Kelley, whose bombshell claims of being threatened by Petraeus' lover led to the top spy’s resignation last week.
Allen, the four-star general top commander in Afghanistan, was revealed last night to have exchanged thousands of pages of of emails with Kelley, who went to the feds after receiving threatening e-mails from Paula Broadwell, the married mistress of Petraeus.
A judge noted in the file that Khawam "has attached letters from Gen. David H. Petraeus averring to her ability to appropriately parent the child, and is prepared to present corroborating testimony at trial."
And in court documents filed by Kelley's sister Natalie Khawam, she name-drops both Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts and Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island -- who both have ties to a Providence, RI, lawyer/Democratic fundraiser who loaned a whopping $300,000 to Khawam.
Khawam claimed in a July 12 letter to her estranged husband that she took their now 4-year-old son "on vacation last year to Martha Vineyard," where their son and "I had a great time at the DSCC [Democratic Senate Campaign Committee] event."
"Sen. John Kerry asked if [her son] would be coming again this year," Khawam wrote. "[Their son] was a superstar at the DSCC last year."
A spokeswoman for Kerry – who the Washington Post reports is being considered as President Obama's next secretary of defense -- in an email comment wrote, "Senator Kerry’s friend Jerry Harrington introduced him to his girlfriend (Natalie) at a DSCC event."
The generals' letters to the court — written in the past two months — supported a motion to overturn a ruling made nearly a year earlier by a judge who resoundingly denied custody to Khawam, because of serious reservations about her honesty and mental stability, court records show.

Defiant and reflective, 80-year-old Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio told Breitbart News after winning re-election that he has a message for President Barack Obama: granting amnesty to illegal immigrants is unfair to legal immigrants.
And Arpaio would like to discuss amnesty -- along with border security issues -- with Obama "man to man" directly at the White House. He would also like to reach out to Hispanic groups he said have misunderstood his intentions and bought into the negative "propaganda" about him.
"I wish the president would invite me to the White House," Arpaio told Breitbart News. "We’ll have some wine and beer, and light up cigars."

What if you could eat a plate of French fries, loaded with calories, and not absorb the fat because of what you’re drinking.
Well, that’s exactly what PepsiCo is selling in Japan; and, so far, only in Japan.
Unlike the Pepsi bought in the USA, the Japanese will be able to buy something called Pepsi Special.
It contains an additive called Dextrin, a fat-blocking fiber that is supposed to keep the body from absorbing fat and lower cholesterol levels. That’s a claim that the Food & Drug Administration has not yet bought.
But if it does, as a marketing tool, a Pepsi drink that blocks fat could be a winner.
A Pepsi ad in Japan suggests you can eat both pizza and hamburger – as long as you drink Pepsi Special.

A suspicious husband used the
GPS capability on his wife’s cellphone to find the 38-year-old teacher having sex with a 16-year-old boy.
Amie Neely now faces a felony sexual assault
charge after being arrested by Port St. Lucie, Fla. police early Sunday morning, according to TC Palm.
WPBF reports that the boy
was an exchange student living with Neely and her husband at the time of the alleged assault. There is also another exchange student still taking up residence there, according to the station.
There is no indication that Neely, who teaches at Community Christian Academy, ever taught the student she's accused of assaulting.
The boy told cops he drove Neely to an area near St. LucieWest Centennial High School. He said he got in the back seat with Neely and, as the two were having sex, the teacher's husband walked up to the car and discovered them.
Neely allegedly blamed "midlife crisis" feelings for her behavior when questioned by police, according to TC Palm. She also said the boy kept asking for sex and she hoped he would stop asking if she went along with his requests, according to police. The boy told cops he and Neely had sex on multiple occasions, including inside the teacher's home.
Community Christian Academy told WPBF they are cooperating with authorities and have no further comment at this time.
Neely was released on $15,000 bail.
