Early voting only got under way on Monday and already a complaint has been filed.

Colorado Republicans say Democrats wrongly offered Colorado State University students free pizza and T-shirts in exchange for voting.

The Colorado Republican Committee sent a letter to the Larimer County clerk alleging wrongdoing by campaigners for the Democratic Party during the first day of early voting on the CSU campus.

They were essentially offering students and passers-by T-shirts and campaign T-shirts with the impression, very clearly, that you had to go vote first, and if you voted, then they would give you free T-shirts and free pizza

Halloween is a little more than one week away, but students at Schuylkill Elementary School aren’t planning their classroom costumes.

That’s because there won’t be a Halloween celebration here, or at the other two elementary schools in the Phoenixville School District.

District officials sent a letter home to parents on Monday, reminding them of the decision they said was sent out in the "Welcome Back" letter in August.

Superintendent Alan Fegley said there were a number of factors considered when making the decision, including that the elementary schools were all doing different celebrations and the school wanted to keep them consistent, that costume safety was becoming a real concern, and that students who couldn’t afford costumes were feeling left out.

It is not even close: In a world poll of the U.S. presidential race, President Barack Obama is the clear favorite over Governor Mitt Romney. By a margin of 50-9 percent, Obama is favored in the poll of 21,797 respondents in 21 countries around the world.

"France was the most strongly pro-Obama (72%)," according to the BBC The only country that would select Romney over Obama is Pakistan, though neither candidate gets more than 20 percent of the support in that country.

And the country where Romney polls the highest? Kenya. But even there, Romney's support does not even eclipse the 20 percent mark.

The poll was conducted by the BBC, and did not sample folks in America, where the polls show a much tighter race.

I used to have no idea what omelettes and milkshakes had to do with Hobbits. Thankfully, Denny’s enlightened me with their Hobbit-inspired menu set to launch November 6. Apparently, Middle-Earth dwellers chillax and sip on Bilbo’s Berry Smoothie while munching on Radagast’s Red Velvet Pancake Puppies. I’m serious — that’s what Denny’s officially named a smoothie and a pancake.

Shucks, and to think, I thought Hobbit’s ate things like rabbit stew and drank home-brewed beer. Silly me. Tricks are indeed, for kids. Of course, this whole Denny’s gone Hobbit dealio might have something to do with Peter Jackson’s upcoming movie The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. What better way to get kids pumped about watching wizards and tiny men run around then feeding them magic food? According to Denny’s, this is how it’s done.

So expect to have your breakfast, lunch and dinner at Denny’s be exactly the same, with the exception of what you actually call them. Expect to your coffee to be called Shire Juice and your ketchup to be renamed Smaug Sauce. That was a joke, but Gandalf’s Gobble Melt isn’t. I wish I was kidding.

More than 2,000 women have undergone the procedure at his clinic since it launched five years ago.

The cost? $1,200.00
