U.S. Supreme Court won't hear arguments the case, so it's going back to state court.

The case over the pink underwear that Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio makes his inmates wear is making its way around the court system, it is now going back to state court.

The U.S. Supreme Court won't hear arguments on the pink underwear case, which gained national attention when Arpaio made it part of the prison attire.

The decision was challenged by a mentally ill inmate who refused to wear them because he feared detention officers were trying to rape him.  Arpaio won that case.

The verdict was later tossed by an appeals court.  That decision has helped lead the way for the case to make a journey around the court system.
