Joe Garagiola formally announces his retirement
The 87-year-old Hall of Fame broadcaster spent the last 15 seasons doing select television broadcasts for the Diamondbacks.
After a nine-year big league career, Garagiola called St. Louis Cardinals games on radio before going on to a long career with NBC.
