Even the sheriff can be a victim of credit-card theft.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio had his credit-card information stolen for a $300 purchase at a Chicago store over the weekend.
Arpaio says he hasn't been to Chicago in years, and the credit-card company alerted him to the suspicious purchase.
