It's been forty years since the U.S. Supreme Court Roe v. Wade decision, declaring abortion legal in all fifty states.
The Center for Arizona policy held a rally at the federal courthouse in downtown Phoenix. The president, Cathi Herrod, says they gathered to commemorate the loss of lives and to support pro-life politicians. "In Arizona," she says, "we have two lawsuits pending regarding pro-life laws. We'll continue to advocate for por-life laws until we see women protected from the horrors of abortion and pre-born children protected." Herrod says she believes that one day we can see an end to abortion in our country.
