Phoenix Will Be Frigid

A cold front moving into the Valley could make things unpleasant for many.

This cold spell is expected to last for about four or five days starting this weekend.

The National Weather Service says outlying areas of Phoenix will see temperatures drop into the lower 20's at night.  It's possible small pockets could even see the mercury drop into the high teens.

Weather experts say it's the first time in about 25-years the Valley has experienced a four or five-day stretch of cold temperatures of this magnitude.

Plants and pets, among other things, are most vulnerable...so make sure they stay covered and bundled up.
