Raw sewage leaked from tanker truck
PHOENIX - The driver of a semi truck is trapped after the truck rolled over on the I-10 westbound and 24th Street on Wednesday. Traffic is being detoured onto SR 143.
Police say a tanker truck rolled over after it rear-ended a car on the I-10. One person was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated.
Officers also say sewage is leaking from the tanker truck.
ADOT says driver should expect significant delays approaching the detour. Drivers should also expect delays on westbound US 60 as it approaches I-10.
ADOT suggests drivers should use alternate routes, such as exiting I-10 at Loop 202 San Tan Freeway eastbound and then driving north on Loop 101.
The freeway was re-opened after a few hours.
