A company with close ties to management at the Seattle Space Needle wants to build a 420 foot observation tower in downtown Phoenix.
The project would be constructed next to the Arizona Science Museum and would cost an estimated 60-million dollars.
Project supporters say the observation tower would help bring more tourists and sightseers to the city's downtown...giving the area a much needed economic boost.
Company leaders are hoping to break ground on the project sometime this summer.
