He was taken from a Phoenix motel room

Two women are under arrest after a young boy was kidnapped from a Phoenix motel room.  The boy's father was also arrested for child neglect.

According to Phoenix police, 23-year-old Dominique San Miguel and his 5- and 3-year-old sons checked into a motel at I-17 and Indian School Rd. early Thanksgiving morning.  During check-in, he met two women, who agreed to return to his room with him.

While there, San Miguel told officers, he started drinking and the women used meth.  After a while, he said, the group decided to go for a drive in San Miguel's SUV and take the children with them.  About an hour later, he said, they returned to the motel room where he passed out.  When he woke up a few hours later, he discovered that his wallet, his 3-year-old son, and his SUV were gone.

Police put out a photo of the missing boy.  Late Wednesday night, someone called police to report that the boy was at a house near 21st Ave. and Jefferson.  Officers went to the house and were told the boy had been dropped off there by one of the women from the motel room, identified as 31-year-old Candace Clark.  Police took custody of the boy.

About the same time, officers on patrol saw the missing SUV drive into an apartment complex near 29th Ave. and Camelback.  Inside the SUV were the two women, Clark and 38-year-old Sophia Mendez Deltoro.  Both were arrested for kidnapping, vehicle theft, and drug charges.

San Miguel was arrested for two counts of child neglect.
