Valley mom talks about losing her three children
A year ago, Gold Canyon resident Karen Perry lost her three children, Morgan, 9, Logan, 8, and Luke, 6. The kids were in a plane with their father when it crashed into the Superstition Mountain.
Since December, Perry has been helping others in need by bringing toys, clothes, and food to families since, she says, "I could not give gifts to my own children........"
To honor her children, on Friday, November 23, an overnight hike is planned up Superstition Mountain to an area near the crash site. A permanent plaque will be placed up there Saturday morning.
On Sunday night, November 25, a candlelight vigil will be held at the Gold Canyon Community Church at 6pm, 5810 S Alameda Rd., Gold Canyon. The public is welcome.
