A Kingman mother is charged with two counts of child abuse, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities received a call on November 1 from a man who said he found his niece and nephew sleeping in their locked bedroom without adult supervision.
Deputies checked on the 5-year-old boy and 4-year-old girl who were okay. The uncle told deputies he talked with the children's mother, Amanda Morse, 24, earlier in the day and she said she was going to a club.
An officer with the Kingman Police Department found Morse at a club. Child Protective Services placed the boy and girl in the care of a relative. Police say the children were left alone for a minimum of two hours.
