Tempe police on Thursday announced the arrest of 28-year-old Gabriel Bedoy.
Authorities say a suspect is in custody in connection with a string of armed robberies in Mesa and Tempe last month.
Tempe police on Thursday announced the arrest of 28-year-old Gabriel Bedoy in the case.
They say Bedoy is accused of robbing six businesses in a four-day span starting on Sept. 24.
Authorities say Bedoy allegedly entered the businesses with a semi-automatic handgun and forced the clerks to give him money, then fled in a vehicle.
They say evidence obtained from one of the robbery locations was used to help identify Bedoy as a suspect.
Bedoy is being held at the Tempe City Jail on suspicion of armed robbery and aggravated assault.
Police didn't immediately know Thursday whether Bedoy had a lawyer yet.
