PHOENIX (AP) - State environmental regulators are offering to help Arizona school districts learn how to deal with chemicals used at schools.

The Department of Environmental Quality has developed a 60-page publication to help school officials learn how to safely store needed for labs and other purposes and how to dispose of them when they're outdated or not needed.

The department says the goal is to avoid problems such as spills, fires and accidental exposures.
