Valley restaurant using employees to impersonate Sheriff Arpaio's chain gang.
If you happen to drive by Mr. Scrib's Pizza in Goodyear or in the northwest valley, you might see a chain gang in front.
But it's not Sheriff Joe Arpaio's chain gang from Tent City. The people you see are employees of Mr. Scribs, holding up signs, advertising for the restaurant. But they're very realistic looking, with black and white striped uniforms with chains linking the employees together.
Sheriff Arpaio says there's nothing he can do. It's not against the law to protest or advertise outside a business. Arpaio says the owner of Mr. Scrib's has apologized for the confusion.
