A new report finds several areas Arizona needs to improve on.
Arizona is among the worst in the nation for conditions affecting children, says a new report released by the Annie E. Casey Foundation.
The 2012 Data Book assesses states based on 16 indicators in four equally weighted domains: Economic Well-Being, Education, Health, and Family and Community. Arizona ranks 36th in the Health domain and 46th in the other three domains, as well as overall.
The only states ranking below Arizona overall are Louisiana, Nevada, New Mexico, and Mississippi.
