David Deal is charged with assaulting his 10-year-old daughter prior to her death.
A Phoenix man who was charged with assaulting his 10-year-old daughter prior to her death has been rearrested.
David Deal was taken into custody for the first time on Friday night, then released without having to post bond due to lack of probable cause. After a grand jury indicted him on one count of felony child abuse, a warrant was issued Monday night for Deal's rearrest.
Deal was found outside his home loading his possessions into a U-Haul truck. It is not known where he was planning to go.
A judge has set Deal's bond at $250,000.
