Four lives are lost on two Arizona lakes.
At Lake Pleasant, a family gathered for a picnic when a brother jumped in the water and tried to swim across. When he got into trouble, his brother jumped in to help. Bystanders managed to pull them both out and perform CPR until paramedics arrived, but neither survived. The victims are identifed as 19-year-old Dan Nguyen and 20-year-old Thanh "Matt" Nguyen, both of Glendale.
At Lake Powell, a famly from New Mexico was using personal water craft for sightseeing. When one slowed down, another ran into them. Two adults were killed and a girl was taken to the hospital, treated and released. No names are being released.
