It provides a lot more room for military members to relax
Officials from Phoenix, the military, and corporate sponsors cut the ribbon Thursday on a new USO Center at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
The new USO in Terminal Four is about three times the size of the small, cramped center the organization has been inhabiting in Terminal Two, which is the smallest of Sky Harbor's three terminals.
The new facility features semi-private computer terminals, wall-mounted TVs and video games, a cafeteria line, and plenty of room to relax. It's one of about 160 USOs in airports around the world for current and former members of the military and their families to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the airport, while they're spending time at Sky Harbor.
