A pitbull puppy that was beaten with a sledgehammer will be available for adoption.
A pitbull puppy named Miles was beaten with a sledgehammer in March. With the help of public donations, Panacea Animal Wellness (PAWs) sanctuary was able to do surgery on both his legs. His one leg was so badly crushed, it was amputated.
Now, Hangar Clinic in Mesa will evaluate to see if they can provide a prosthsesis.
When Miles was brought in beaten at 9-weeks old, he was howling in pain. The owner/breeder was arrested. Soon, he'll be available for adoption. The adopting family will work with paws and hangar clinic as the doggie mends.
