40 Phoenix Police officers will help provide security during next year's Presidential inauguration.
This is not the first time phoenix cops have been asked to help protect the president and the public. They also provided security during the 2009 inauguration.
The federal government is picking up all expenses.
The officers were chosen based on seniority, training, and other factors.
