Domestic violence terrorism investigation underway when Jason Todd "JT" Ready allegedly shot and killed four people before killing himself.
The FBI Special Agent in charge of the Phoenix offices tells The Arizona Republic the agency's probe has nothing to do with the murder-suicide in Gilbert.
Ready was the leader of the U.S. Border Guards, a group of armed civilians that patrols along the border for illegal immigrants and drug smugglers.
The FBI says its investigation dates back to when Ready was a member of the neo-Nazi Socialist Movement and continued into his participation wih the border group.
The probe is based on tips that the FBI would not specify.
