Our youngest boy Ian asked us if he could have his own little Christmas tree, and we agreed and let him pick it out and choose how to decorate it.  When he chose a tacky white tree we rolled our eyes, but then he went with red tinsel garland and blue ornaments - a beautiful patriotic tree.  Mom and dad are proud of their five-year-old . . .
