Sharpe In The Morning will be taking a couple of listeners to see Rush at US Airways Arena on Sunday. November 25th (contest details here).  Usually the name "Rush" in relation to KFYI refers to the most popular talk show host in history, heard on KFYI from 10AM - 1PM weekdays.  But not this time . . .

Jim Sharpe, John McJunkin, and Bob Bennett are all three drummers.  Not great drummers, mind you, but they're known to sit down at the kit.  But one needn't have ever played a real drum kit in order to be a world class air drummer.  The film Adventures Of Power features air drumming prominently, including this sequence, in which the film's protagonist air drums with his hero, Neil Peart, of Rush.  Let this little clip whet your appetite for Canadian power trio rock, and stay tuned for details on our contest.  And we dare you to not air drum while you watch this . . .
