Thanks again to Desert Schools Federal Credit Union for making their suite at US Airways Center available for us for the Rush (the band - not the Limbaugh) show Sunday night. It's really comfortable and the concert was awesome. It's the third time I've seen Rush - and I think they've gotten better each time I see them.

Carl Andrews of Mesa, the winner of our Rush air-drumming contest, brought his wife Sheri to the show. Before showtime, they asked some dork to have his picture taken with them:

Before my phone died, I was able to grab a few pics.

Here's a shot of them doing Big Money!:

More Large $$!:

Geddy Lee (bass, vocals) on the big screen (thanks to my camera phone, he looks a little like Gene Simmons):

Next, Alex Lifeson (guitar, vocals) shows off Jumbotron-style:

And, of course, the MAN - Neil Peart. Easily the world's best rock drummer:

Carl was voted the best of our three air-drumming finalists. In case you missed Carl's solid performance - done using forefingers on a steering wheel, no less - here it is to behold one more time:

No offense, Carl, but Neil was a little better.

Amazing show.
