Unless you dig into right-leaning websites or blogs or follow pundits on Twitter, you may have not heard about it yet, but Pew published it’s latest poll yesterday, and of all the polls we’ve ever discussed in the Ham Sandwich Update, this one is far and away the most devastating to the Obama campaign.  This is “the big one, ‘Liz-beth” – the massive tectonic shift that finally spells out the beginning of the end for President Obama.  Here are the initial details.

Last month, in the Pew poll, President Obama led in the poll by an eight-point margin, 51/43.  In yesterday’s poll, the lead inverted – Mitt Romney is now up 49/45.  That’s a twelve-point reversal.  And normally, if I see a poll turn around like that, I laugh out loud – there’s no way it could turn around that fast, right?  Well, Romney’s devastating performance in last week’s debate, coupled with Obama’s already dwindling lead, evidently did the trick.  I’m still skeptical about the specific numbers, but clearly there’s been a sea-change, and there are other polls backing this notion.  We’ll be talking about them through the rest of the week.  Bottom line, I would respectfully submit that this development renders President Obama vulnerable to being beaten by a Ham Sandwich.

It's The Beginning of the End . . .
