It's the highest-rated local radio talk show in Arizona! The "Nearly Famous" Barry Young Show is the first place to jump on the hottest local and national issues of the day. There is no moderating or fence-sitting when Barry's behind the microphone. His humorous, no-holds-barred style has won him national recognition as one of the TALKERS magazine top 100 talk hosts in America. Radio has always been Barry's first love. He landed his first on-air position when he was only 14 years old in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Before arriving in Phoenix, Barry was a top-rated talk show host in Atlanta, Dallas, and Miami.

Barry is President and CEO of WestStar TalkRadio Network, a radio broadcast network and program syndication company based in Phoenix. WestStar syndicates such programs as The Kim Komando Show, heard Sundays on 550 KFYI, Goddard's Gold, and the smooth jazz program Quiet Music.

In addition to his love of radio, Barry is a published author in the fields of science and astronomy. He is also an accomplished Commercial Pilot and FAA licensed Flight Instructor, a HAM radio operator and holds Advanced Open Water SCUBA certifications.

Mr. Young is married and has 4 children.
