U.S. Marshal Killed In Tucson

A man is behind bars and a U.S. Deputy Marshal is dead after a standoff in Arizona.  The deputy was serving a federal warrant in Tucson against a man accused of stalking a law enforcement officer when the deputy was shot.

Tucson police responded shortly after and were able to rush the deputy to a nearby hospital where he later died.  The suspect barricaded himself inside the home, but gave up after a couple of hours.

This is reportedly the first time in 66 years a marshal has been killed in the line of duty in Tucson.
