Barack Obama is urging young voters to get to the polls next month in a new video that tackles Millennial apathy. Mind you these were the same Millennial's who were stuck in their parent’s basement until President Trump's economy rescued them but who's paying that much attention?
"You wouldn't let your grandparents pick your playlist. Why would you let them pick your representative who's going to determine your future?" Obama says at one point. Well, maybe because your grandparents love you and know more about politics and life than their grandkids do because they've been stuck in their parent’s basement?
"I understand that it's not always easy to find time to vote on a Tuesday. That's why in every state you can get an absentee ballot, which you can mail in or drop off ahead of Election Day," he said in response to the excuse "I don't have time to vote," adding that one can vote early in many states.
Yep, the Democrats have made it easy for you. Too easy. Just saying.
Obama also said that voting is like “going to a private Jay-Z, Beyoncé concert, just without Jay-Z and Beyoncé."
