Fry's Food Stores To Phase Out Plastic Bags

Kroger, owner of Fry’s Food Stores in Arizona, will phase out plastic bags.  Kroger is the latest company to respond to the backlash against single-use plastics.

The grocery chain will transition to reusable bags in all 2,800 stores by 2025.  The company will not say when the phase-out will begin in Arizona, but the company is urging consumers to begin to move to reusable bags.
