Surprise Considers Strict Cellphone Law

(Surprise, AZ)  One Valley city may ban cellphone use while driving.  The Surprise City Council is discussing a measure to make it illegal to use a hand-held cellphone or portable electronic device while driving in city limits.  Councilman Skip Hall's proposal has the support of local police.  Violations could result in a 250 dollar fine.  If the ban passes, it would be the first of its kind in the Valley.
