(Arivaca, AZ) -- New details are coming out about a border agent shot just south of Tucson. There are several reports that state the agent was attacked by a group of people around 4:30 yesterday morning in the small town of Arivaca. During the fight, the agent was shot at close range multiple times. The agent was hit in his hand, leg and several bullets landed in his protective vest. He managed to crawl back into his SUV and was quickly rushed to a hospital where he is expected to survive.
