(Phoenix, AZ) -- More people are moving to the Valley than nearly any other area of the nation. Statistics from the 2017 U.S. Census Bureau show Buckeye was ranked the fifth-fastest growing city in the nation, while Phoenix was the second-highest population-gaining city. More than one-point-six million people now live in Phoenix making it the fifth-largest city in the country. Maricopa County remained the fastest-growing U.S. county overall.
