Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton will leave office on May 29th. After six years leading the city, Stanton is making a run for Congress. Back in October, the Mayor announced he would run to fill the seat being vacated by Representative Kyrsten Sinema. Congresswoman Simena is making a bid for the senate seat now held by Senator Jeff Flake whose stepping down at the end of his term. City Councilman Daniel Valenzuela has already announced his candidacy for mayor.
