(Phoenix, AZ) -- A Glendale police sergeant is critically injured after a standoff with a suspect who is now dead. Multiple agencies responded to 43rd and Olive Avenues this morning in an effort to arrest a man wanted for several felony warrants. The suspect fired his weapon at the officers, prompting an exchange of gunfire that lead to the suspect's death. Police say the suspect is a 44-year-old white man, but authorities are not releasing his name or the name of the officer at this time.
