(Phoenix, AZ)  --  A report from the Governors Highway Safety Association finds pedestrians in Arizona face more danger than pedestrians anywhere else in the country.  The report finds that in the first first half of 2017, Arizona had more than one-and-a-half pedestrian deaths per 100-thousand people in the state.  That's the highest per capita rate in the country, and nearly double the national average.
