Criminals have a better chance of getting a job with the state in Arizona.
Governor Doug Ducey issued an executive order to state agencies Monday to get rid of a check box on job applications that asks people about their criminal history. Officials say criminal histories will not disqualify someone from receiving an interview.
Ducey says he wants to try and keep criminals from going back to jail, and this is one way they can get a second chance.
He also wants to build employment centers at prisons and give food stamps to drug felons.
