Leaders In Arizona Respond To Texas Shooting

Leaders in Arizona are reacting to the church shooting that took place inside the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs, Texas that left 26 people dead.  

Governor Doug Ducey expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of those lost, tweeting, "Arizona stands with Texas."  

Senator John McCain gave prayers to the victims, their families and first responders.  

Former Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords also took to Twitter, with a link to a personal statement on her website aimed at fighting gun violence. 

Giffords was shot and wounded during a mass shooting in Tucson in 2011.
