Football Player's Death Ruled Accidental

The investigation into a high school football player's death is complete.

Carlos Sanchez of Moon Valley High School collapsed during a game earlier this month and later died. Sanchez was being blocked before he went down and the Arizona Interscholastic Association says the play was clean, but Sanchez fell back and hit his head on the ground.

The Maricopa County medical examiner said Monday it ruled that accidental blunt-force trauma killed the teen.

A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the family with his funeral costs.
