(KFYI News) – Chandler police have arrested three women accused of being involved in the making of a video posted on social media showing one woman playing with a sex toy in front of children at a day care center. At one point, the woman even hands the sex toy to a child.
A third woman who was seen in the video was also arrested in the case.
The incident happened Monday at SuperKids Childcare Center near Warner and Alma School Roads in Chandler. Police were contacted Monday night by a citizen who saw the video on a social media website.
Detectives have identified the woman who is committing the acts with the sex toy as 25-year-old Gabriella del Carmen Garcia (above left), and the woman shooting the video as 24-year-old Fatina Sawyer (above right).
Police say their Special Victims Unit detectives tried to locate both women unsuccessfully. On Wednesday, Garcia turned herself in to Chandler police. Sawyer was arrested by Mesa police after they responded to a call at her mother's home.
Garcia was arrested for four counts of furnishing harmful materials to minors. Sawyer was arrested on one count of furnishing harmful materials to minors, one count of sexual exploitation of a minor via video recording, and one count of luring a minor for sexual exploitation.
The third woman, 21-year-old Janae Peterson (below), is also seen in the video watching the goings-on, but was not actively involved. She was arrested for failure to report.
