DUI Arrest: .310 BAC

Last week, the Phoenix Police Department arrested a man for causing a fatal accident while he was drunk. Not only drunk, but four times the legal limit.

Ivan Garcia-Lugo now faces manslaughter charges.  The cops say he was behind the wheel when his car crossed lanes near 37th Ave and Thomas on August 6th when he hit another car in a head on collision. Two people in that car died.  Ramona Dewhurt died at the scene.  Her adult daughter Kelly dies two weeks later in the hospital.

At the time, Lugo was also taken to the hospital in critical condition.  Police say his blood alcohol content was .310.
