Camera Catch Drivers Passing Illegally

Some new cameras are aimed at catching people who pass school buses illegally.  Tolleson Elementary and High School districts are the first in Maricopa County to permanently outfit their school buses with cameras.  They are known as "stop arm cameras" and record people passing the buses when kids are getting off.

Several other districts have shown interest in the cameras and Tempe Union High School District will add them in 2018.  As it stands right now, the pictures don't mean charges will be filed.
