Arizona Representative Kyrsten Sinema is getting a boost in a possible Senate bid. The Hill reports that Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer called Kyrsten Sinema over the August recess telling her he would back her in a run against Senator Jeff Flake. The Arizona Republican Senator is vulnerable and Sinema is a third term Democratic Congresswoman who is rumored to be considering a bid against Flake. Minority Leader Schumer reportedly made a call to Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton as well, another potential Democratic challenger to Flake, telling the Mayor he was supporting Sinema.
