Chris Sedlock is a young man who wanted to serve his country so bad that instead of waiting a year to go into the Navy to follow in the footsteps of his father, grandfathers and uncle. He chose to go into the Army that would take him immediately. He is 25 years old and has been in the Army since he was 20. He flies the unmanned aerial planes and he has been on numerous flying mission where he has been directly responsible for saving countless lives from being lost from roadside bombs. He has received numerous awards and has been promoted consistently while serving. While serving in the United States Army for the past five years, he has completed two tours to Iraq and is currently serving his third tour there. While in the Army he has received the following awards; Army Accommodation, Merit Unit Citation, Good Conduct, Overseas Ribbon, Aviation Badge, Wheel Drive Badge, National Defense Medal, Iraqi Campaign with two Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the NCO Performance Development Ribbon. He has grown so much while being a soldier and understands the importance of what he is doing, why he is there and the importance of teamwork. I could not be more proud to call him my son, even though he is legally only my stepson. Chris is from Glendale and is currently stationed in Iraq and is a Mission Coordinator/ UAS Operator / Payload Operator.
