Desert Ridge High School's & Mesquite High School's Transition Assistance Programs, Gilbert School District, invite you to the 7th Annual Special Education Scholarship Fundraising Gala on Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at the SE Regional Library Community Room (Greenfield & Guadalupe).
The goal of the event is to raise funds to be awarded to any senior receiving Special Education Services who would not qualify for scholarships that are available to the general high school population. All funds raised will be split evenly between both high schools and then, sent directly to the college or technical school of the student's choice to help pay for their first year's tuition and books.
Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door. There will be a silent auction, prize wheel, food, entertainment and door prizes.
