Now through April 30, 2010
Bashas’
Shoppers Can Now Donate 1 Percent of Their Grocery Purchases
To their
Favorite Local Schools, Churches and Non-Profits
Shop & Give program runs
September 1, 2009 through April 30, 2010
Supporting a local school, church or animal rescue
organization just got easier with the launch of Bashas’ Shop & Give program.
Shoppers can donate 1 percent of their grocery
purchases to their favorite non-profit at no cost to them.
Participating
in the Shop & Give program is easy. Bashas’ customers simply need to link their
Thank You Card to their favorite non-profit organization at any register or
online through the company’s Web site. Bashas’ will then donate 1 percent of
the total sales linked to each group, for up to a $5,000 donation. This year’s
program runs for an extra month – from Sept. 1, 2009, until April 30, 2010 –
and is available at Bashas’ Supermarkets and Bashas’ Diné stores across the state.
Shoppers
can link as many as three non-profit organizations to their Thank You Card. For
more information about the Shop & Give program, to see a list of participating
non-profits in your area or to link your card to your organization, visit http://www.bashas.com/charity.
