Arizona State Fair's "Read & Ride" Program
October 16 - November 8, 2009

The Arizona State Fair's Read & Ride Program

Encouraging Arizona Kids to Read

What's the Deal?

Read 3 books, get 3 carnival rides FREE! Maximum of 3

FREE rides per student.

Who Can Participate?

Any Arizona student age 5 - 14.

How Does It Work?

Students read books, then completely fill in the Official

Read & Ride book report form with brief summaries of

approximately 25 words in length each. Children age 6 and

under are welcome to draw pictures instead.

Books must be approved by the student's teacher or parent as

appropriate for the student's age and reading level. The adult

signs the form verifying that the student has completed the

books.

Now What?

Students bring the signed form to the Guest Services booth, at

the southwest corner of the Coliseum at the Arizona State

Fair, to redeem for ride passes.  Guest Services opens at 12pm

Tuesday – Friday and 10am Saturday and Sunday.  The Fair

is closed on Mondays.  The student must be present to

redeem form for ride tickets.
